Final Report of the 5th EITI Global Conference in Paris now available

The final Report of the 5th EITI Global Conference entitled Transparency Counts, held on 2-3 March 2011 in Paris, is now available. The Conference Report highlights the two-day programme that brought together around 1,000 participants including heads of states, government leaders, companies, civil society actors, sparking lively discussions about the EITI and going beyond resource revenue transparency.

Nominations open for EITI Chair's Award

Call for nominationsThe EITI Chair wishes to invite all EITI stakeholders to nominate implementing countries for awards to be announced at the next Global Conference in Paris in March 2011. The EITI Chair's Awards recognise countries that have shown leadership, determination and resourcefulness in implementing the EITI. Up to three awards will be given.

The countdown to the next EITI Global Conference 2-3 March 2011 has started and EITI stakeholders from around the world are now invited to register their participation at the conference online.

Next EITI Global Conference will take place in Paris 2-3 March 2011

The EITI International Board today confirmed that the 5th EITI Global Conference will take place in Paris on 2-3 March 2011. The Conference will focus on ensuring deeper impact.  It will provide an opportunity to share experiences and learn from the innovative practices and progress in the 31 EITI implementing countries, many of which have undertaken validation in 2010.
