Validation Report for Mongolia

This is the report of the 2010 Validation of the Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) in Mongolia. This EITI Validation was undertaken by a consortium led by Coffey International Development, in association with Dalaivan Audit LLC.

Based on the Validator’s findings, the Board recommended a number of remedial actions. Following corrective actions undertaken by the National Council and multi-stakeholder working group, the EITI International Secretariat conducted a review in September 2010 and submitted a report to the Board on 4 October 2010.

Mongolia was designated as EITI compliant on 19 October 2010.
