EITI Reports

Making data of revenue flows from oil, gas and mining activities publicly available is a key activity in the EITI process. EITI Reports are produced by an independent accountant, who reconciles figures from government agencies and compagnies operating in sectors included in the EITI process and subject to reporting according to the materiality definition agreed by the Multi-stakeholder Group. The report is then published and disseminated by the MSG after review. 29 countries have published a total of 68 EITI Reports by July 2011. In July 2009, the Secretariat produced an overview of the EITI reports providing a country by country summary in US dollars of the total revenues reported by companies and governments, an update of the EITI reports overview is due to be pulished shortly.

Recently, several institutions have started conducting research and exploring the data in the EITI reports. Revenue Watch Institute has launched an analysis tool of the EITI reports which is available at http://data.revenuewatch.org/eiti/.

The EITI is not responsible for contents on any linked site. Some of the reports listed are not yet made available electronically. To access these reports, please contact that country's EITI National Coordinator.
