Voici le rapport final de l'évaluation de l'ITIE qui a été commandé par le Conseil d'administration de l'ITIE et a été effectué entre octobre 2010 et mai 2011 par Scanteam. Scanteam a été choisi suite à un appel d'offres ouvert pour mener à bien l'évaluation.

Ce rapport répertorie les activités du Secrétariat international de l’ITIE en 2011. Il reflète le plan de travail de 2011 approuvé par le Conseil d’administration lors de sa réunion de Dar-es-Salaam en octobre 2010. Les points forts de l’ITIE pour 2011 sont notamment les suivants :

The 62nd session of the UN General Assembly has adopted a resolution on the subject of 'Strengthening Transparency in Industries'. The resolution gives strong backing to the EITI by noting that EITI implementing countries' efforts to strengthen transparency. The resolution, that was passed unanimously 11 September 2008, emphasises that transparency and accountability should be embraced and promoted by all its member states.
La politique et la méthodologie de l'ITIE sont guidées par les Principes de l'ITIE et les Critères de l'ITIE, et sont détaillées dans le Livre source de l'ITIE et les Règles de l'ITIE. Le Conseil d'administration de l'ITIE a également publié un certain nombre de clarifications et notes de conseil pour les pays mettant en œuvre. Celles-ci sont publiées sous forme de Notes de politique de l'ITIE.

This publication builds on the lessons learned by the countries that have led the way in implementing the EITI. A CD-ROM, which contains sample documents produced during the EITI process, supplments the presenation in the book. The book will help those new to the initiative naviagate their way through the various steps in implementing an EITI program and will be of interst to readers working in the areas of transparency; governance and anticorruption; mining, oil, gas, and chemicals; and overall corporate governance.
In January 2005, the EITI International Secretariat produced the first version of the EITI Source Book. Building on the experiences of the leading EITI countries, the Source book provides an illustrative guide to assist countries wishing to implement the initiative, and companies and other stakeholders wishing to support implementation.
