Marie-Ange Kalenga

Marie-Ange Kalenga is a regional director for francophone West Africa at the EITI Secretariat. Marie-Ange joins from the Publish What You Pay Campaign, a global CSO network advocating for increased transparency and accountability in the extractive sector, where she served as Africa Regional Coordinator. She previously worked in advocacy and communications capacities for various development and human rights NGOs including the Global Call to Action against Poverty and Human Rights Watch. She also led campaigning activities on social development issues in Africa at the United Nations Volunteers Programme.

Marie-Ange has a masters in comparative development studies from the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris and a BA in African Studies and Law.
