On 23 October the Danish NGO IBIS organised the conference “Extractive Industries: Unleashing Economic Potentials – Respecting People and Environment” which launched the Danish Publish What You Pay coalition. At the conference Mr Ib Petersen, Danish State Secretary for Development Policy, urged resource-rich countries to implement the EITI and announced Danish support for the EITI.
