Getting to/from France

Air

There are two airports in the Paris area.  North of Paris is Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, the largest airport and most often used for international flights.  South of Paris is Orly airport.   

Train

Paris can be reached by 2 high-speed international trains:

Thalys - for travellers from Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands

Eurostar - for travellers from the United Kingdom

 

Getting to the Conference venue

The OECD Headquarters are located in 2 rue André Pascal in the 16 arrondissement in Paris. A map of the area surrounding the OECD is available here

Public transportation to/from the OECD is widely available:

RER: Line C - Henri Martin Station

Metro: Line 9 - La Muette station

Bus: Line 63 - Octave Feuillet stop; Line 52 - La Muette Boulainvilliers stop; Line PC1 - Porte de la Muette stop

From the Airport to the Conference venue

By Train

RER B from Roissy Charles de Gaulle. Change at Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame for RER C (direction Pontoise). Alight at the stop called Avenue Henri Martin.

From Orly, travel with the Orlyval to Antony. From there, RER B (direction Mitry-Claye or Aéroport CDG) takes you to Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame. Change for  RER C (direction Pontoise). Alight at the stop called Avenue Henri Martin.

By Bus

RATP has three bus lines for travel from Airports Orly et Roissy Charles de Gaulle to central Paris. Air France coaches has five regular bus lines taking you to and from the airports.

From the Airport to the Hotel Le Méridien Etoile

By Train

RER B from Roissy Charles de Gaulle. Change at Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame for RER C (direction Pontoise). Alight at the stop called Neuilly Porte Maillo-Palais des Congrés.

RER B from Roissy Charles de Gaulle. Change at Châtelet to Metro 1 (direction la Défense). Alight at the stop called Porte Maillot.

From Orly, take the ADP Shuttle to link to Gare d'Austerlitz, take RER C (direction Pontoise). Alight at the stop called Neuilly Porte Maillot-Palais des Congrés.

From Orly, travel with the Orlyval to Antony. From there, take RER B (direction Mitry-Claye or Aéroport CDG) and stop at Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame. Change for  RER C (direction Pontoise). Alight at the stop called Neuilly-Porte Maillot

By Bus

From Charles de Gaulle airport, Air France coach line 2 departs in front of the terminal every 20 minutes from 6:00 to 22:00; and every 30 minutes from 22:00 to 23:00. The arrival stop is Porte Maillot. No reservation is required.  

From Hotel Le Méridien Etoile to the Conference venue

RER C from Neuilly-Porte Maillot to Avenue Henri Martin. 

BUS PC1 from Porte Maillot-Palais de Congres to Porte de la Muette stop.

Conference Shuttle

The free conference shuttle for travels between the OECD and the Meridien Etoile hotel departs at the following times:
1 March               Departure OECD for Meridien Etoile Hotel - 17:45

2 and 3 March    Departure Meridien Etoile Hotel for OECD - 08:00
                              Departure OECD for Meridien Etoile Hotel - 17:45
