From Tullow Oil's statement of support to the EITI

In May 2011, Tullow formally became a corporate supporter of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI).

The EITI is a coalition of governments, companies and civil society and sets a global standard to promote transparency in the oil, gas and mining sectors.

The goals of EITI are aligned with our goal of creating shared prosperity. We are actively involved in the EITI implementation processes in the countries in which we operate that are implementing the EITI standard.
