Yannick Bouterige

Research Assistant, Taxation Program, Ferdi

Yannick Bouterige is a tax economist at the Foundation for Studies and Research on International Development (Ferdi), part-time lecturer at the School of Economics at Clermont Auvergne University (UCA) and affiliate professor at the ESC Clermont Business School. He is an expert in extractive taxation in Africa and in modeling the sharing of mining and oil rents based on the tax law of African countries. He oversees the development and updating of the Ferdi website dedicated to the taxation of mining industries (https://fiscalite-miniere.ferdi.fr). He is also involved in the training courses "Understanding and modeling the sharing of mining revenue in Africa" and "Mastering the challenges of fiscal policy in the African extractive sector" organized by the Institute for Advanced Studies in Sustainable Development (IHEDD) of the Ferdi.
