The Board approves the appointment of SDSG for Independent Validator for the 2016 Validations based on the recommendation of the Validation Committee.

The Validation Committee recommended that the Board agreed appoint Sustainable Development Strategies Group (SDSG) as the Independent Validator for the 2016 Validations. This recommendation followed a competitive tender process, carried out by the International Secretariat in accordance with the EITI Validation procedures and the World Bank’s procurement guidelines. SDSG is the organisation that undertook the quality assurance of the pilot Validations in 2015.
