Decision on admitting Niger as an EITI implementing country
At its 46th EITI Board meeting, the EITI welcomed Niger as an EITI implementing country as of 13 February 2020. In accordance with the EITI Standard, Niger is required to publish the required information (typically through an EITI Report) within 18 months of being admitted as an EITI implementing country (i.e., by 13 August 2021). Validation will commence within two and a half years of becoming a candidate (i.e., by 13 August 2022).
