The Board lifted Kazakhstan's suspension
In accordance with the EITI Standard, Kazakhstan's suspension is lifted following the publication of their 2022 EITI Report.
Board decision
The EITI Board temporarily suspended Kazakhstan on 14 March 2025 for failing to publish its 2022 EITI Report by the deadline of 31 December 2024. In accordance with the EITI Standard, it was agreed that if the outstanding data are not published within six months of the deadline i.e., 30 June 2025, the suspension will remain in force until the EITI Board is satisfied that Kazakhstan has published EITI data in accordance with Requirement 4.8.
The International Secretariat confirms that Kazakhstan published its 2022 EITI Report on 30 October 2025. Thus, the condition for lifting the suspension has been met and the decision has been published
