The Board agreed a longer timeframe for revisions to the EITI Standard.

The Board agreed a longer timeframe for revisions to the EITI Standard.
A Working Group on Revisions to the EITI Standard will be created following the 2026 Global Conference. In 2027, the Working Group would consult on the scope of refinements to the EITI Standard, engage with topic experts on proposed areas of refinements and run pilots on select topics. The aim is to submit revisions for Board approval in late 2028, with full dissemination at the 2029 Global Conference.
