Nomination of the incoming EITI Board Chair
Board decision
The EITI Board has nominated former Dutch politician and Executive Director of the International Energy Agency, Maria van der Hoeven, as EITI Board Chair for the period 2026-2029. Her nomination is subject to confirmation by the EITI Members’ Meeting, which will take place alongside the 2026 EITI Global Conference in June 2026.
