Suriname is eligible for an extension of the reporting deadline for FY 1 January 2018 – 31 December 2018. The deadline for the publication of the outstanding report is extended to 30 June 2021. The Board strongly encourages the MSG to consider measures to progress towards more timely disclosures in 2021, including the possibility of opting for flexible reporting, to ensure that EITI reporting can be used to inform ongoing public debate
