Gloria Mugambe
Head, Uganda EITI Secretariat
Gloria Kempaka Mugambe is an MA International Economics graduate with over ten years’ experience in international development and public financial management.
On completion of her Masters Degree at the University of Sussex, she worked at the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC) at Makerere University as a Young Professional from 1999 to 2002. She left EPRC in 2002 for the Swedish Embassy in Uganda, where she worked as an Economist up to 2010. From there she joined DFID Uganda as a Governance Adviser.
She left DFID in April 2015 to work as an independent consultant, where she specialized in Monitoring and Evaluation work for the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in South Sudan and Uganda. She has also worked as a consultant for the World Bank. In November 2019, she was appointed Team Leader at the Uganda National EITI Secretariat.
