It provides contextual information about the extractive industries, including legal frameworks, fiscal regimes, sector overview, economic contribution, production data, state shareholding, revenue allocations, and license information.
In FY 2020-2021, the extractive sector generated a total of UGX 241,349 million in government revenues (USD 65,515), accounting for 0.6% of total domestic revenues. 95.72% of these revenues were collected by the Uganda Revenue Authority main from Oil & Gas and Mining.
