Conference venue
The 2023 EITI Global Conference is kindly hosted by the Government of Senegal and will take place at the Centre International de Conférences Abdou Diouf (CICAD), in Diamniadio, Dakar.
The venue is approximately 30 km from the Blaise Diagne International Airport (DSS). It can take 60 minutes or more to travel to the venue from Dakar’s city centre.
Getting to and from the conference centre
Due to the location of the venue, we will seek to provide shuttle buses from a limited number of hotels in Dakar city centre to and from the venue. More information on shuttle buses to follow.
Book your hotel
We recommend that conference participants book hotels in Dakar once their registration is confirmed. More information on recommended hotels to follow.
Visa support
Many nationalities do not require a visa to enter Senegal. Please consult the country list below to check if you need a visa.
Once your registration is confirmed and if you indicated that you needed a visa, the EITI International Secretariat will send you a personalised invitation letter.
