Kristine Aghalaryan

Kristine Aghalaryan is an investigative journalist working for the Investigative Journalists NGO in Armenia, which publishes the online newspaper www.hetq.am (HETQ means trace). She is specialised mostly in covering the environment, as well as social and economic issues. Kristine won different contests for her investigative reporting. She also does cross-border investigative reporting, and was participating in global investigative projects like Panama Papers and Paradise Papers. Her story based on the Panama Papers was awarded as the best investigative story in Armenia in 2016. She was twice awarded for her investigative project on Armenian gold mines and their owners (for the best investigative story and environmental move in Armenia) in 2019.
