Summary of the EITI's engagements at the OGP Global Summit on anti-corruption

The OGP Global Summit 2023 brings together high-level government representatives, civil society leaders and policymakers from more than 70 countries to exchange experiences, good practices and progress on open government initiatives and implementation on key issues. The programme features themes such as anti-corruption, digital technologies, climate and environment, open justice, and public participation and civic space, as well as other emerging issues, such as democratic resilience.

Speaker: Mark Robinson, EITI Executive Director This roundtable discussion brings together high-level anti-corruption champions from government, civil society and international partners, including those leading or engaged in collective action initiatives. Government representatives include member countries of the Summit for Democracy Financial Transparency and Integrity Cohort, the Beneficial Ownership Leadership Group, and other countries showing leadership on anti-corruption in their OGP plans. |

Organised by the EITI, Open Ownership and Government of Slovakia How can beneficial ownership data be used to tackle transnational corruption and follow the money across borders? This session highlights new innovations and future needs for beneficial ownership reforms to counter corruption and money-laundering at the national and global level.
