Togo's Multi-Stakeholder Group and the EITI International Secretariat commissioned a report to examine how using the EITI Standard, data and recommendations in the Togo EITI reports can prevent and combat corruption in the Togolese extractive sector. The report highlights the positive impact of EITI implementation in Togo, in particular the current development of a database to operationalise a beneficial ownership registry through the Trade and Personal Property Credit Register (RCCM) in response to EITI recommendations.
