Request for expressions of interest: Myanmar EITI Independent Administrator

Myanmar is now required to submit a joint 2nd and 3rd report on 31 March, 2018.
The Fiscal Policy, Strategy and EITI Division, Ministry of Planning and Finance has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the EITI Implementation project and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.
On behalf of the MSG, the Ministry of Planning and Finance now invite a competent consultant firm for Myanmar EITI’s Independent Administrator to produce the 2nd and 3rd EITI reports covering fiscal years 2014/15, and 2015/16 (see TOR attached).
The consulting services (“the Services”) include but not limited to the following;
- Undertake a review of the 1st MEITI report and produce a scoping report to assess areas which need improvement;
- Based on the 1st MEITI report and scoping report, the consultant will carry out consultation process with MEITI stakeholders, and produce an inception report to provide recommendations for the scope of the 2nd / 3rd MEITI reports.
- Once the scope has been approved by the MEITI-MSG, the consultant will produce the 2nd / 3rd MEITI reconciliation report (including contextual and other relevant information), in line with the EITI standard 2016, by March 2018 (for final approval by 31st March 2018).
