EITI Training in the Americas 2015

Participants from Colombia, Guatemala, Honduras, Peru and Trinidad and Tobago will meet in Lima, Peru to discuss how the EITI can be used as a transparency and accountability mechanism through the Extractive Industries value chain in their countries.

On Wednesday 24 June and Thursday 25 June, participants from countries interested in joining the EITI will meet implementing countries to learn more about the EITI implementation and how to become a Candidate country

The training will also include workshops on EITI Open Data, Sub-national implementation of EITI and how can environmental issues be addressed in EITI implementation. 

The participantion to this event is by invitation.
