With support from the Ford Foundation, the EITI International Secretariat has been implementing the second phase of the "Engaging communities in a just transition" project in Colombia, Ghana and Indonesia since 2024. The project aims to:

  • Strengthen community participation in dialogue and decision-making
  • Advance community perspectives globally through peer learning and engagement.

The EITI seeks to foster peer learning among the countries participating in the project. These sessions provide a platform to exchange insights, methodologies and recommendations on the impact of the energy transition on local communities.
