Since the launch of the EITI, 22 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe and Latin America have joined the initiative. As the number of EITI stakeholders increases, the need for capacity-building grows. Requests for training are being received from both government and civil society representatives in many implementing countries. At the same time, there is a growing body of experience and best practice, and the moment is right to share it among EITI stakeholders.

The second EITI Roundtable meeting of supporting NGOs and development agencies. The meeting aims to ensure better coordination of revenue transparency activities amongst international agencies.
