The Investing in African Mining Indaba is one of Africa's largest mining events. The EITI took part in various panels throughout the week, speaking on governance and accountability frameworks, the importance of responsible and transparent supply chains through the energy transition, artisanal and small scale mining, and the use of gender data to promote a more inclusive and gender diverse mining sector.

Additionally, EITI co-hosted an event with the UK Government to showcase the launch of a new critical minerals policy brief. At Alternative Mining Indaba, we took part in a high-level panel on the link between the energy transition and the climate change crisis.
