Tatiana Camilo Eisenberg de Alvarenga

Country Officer – Lusophone Africa

Tatiana supports the implementation of the EITI in Lusophone African countries.   

Prior to joining the EITI, Tatiana worked in the sustainability field for more than 14 years, at Vale and in environmental consulting firms in Brazil, developing studies for mining projects, hydropower plants, port terminals and alumina refining, among other infrastructure projects. At UNDP, she worked on democratic governance and women's political empowerment projects in Latin America and the Caribbean. Tatiana has also worked for international non-governmental organisations, managing health projects in West and Central Africa at Sightsavers (UK), and developing a diaspora engagement project funded by IOM-USAID at the Global Diaspora Confederation.   

Tatiana has an academic background in Chemical Engineering, with an MBA in Environmental Management and Sustainability, and an MA in Disaster, Adaptation and Development at King’s College London, where she researched the interconnection of gender-development-disaster in Papua New Guinea.  

In her spare time, Tatiana is an amateur photographer and enjoys going to museums and photography exhibitions. She is based in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
