Les Règles de l'ITIE rassemblent les toutes les exigences en matière de mise en œuvre de l'ITIE. Elle comprennent les Principes de l'ITIE, les Critères, les Exigences de l'ITIE, les articles d'association de l'ITIE, le guide de Validation de l'ITIE et les Notes-Directives rédigées par le Secrétariat de l'ITIE, rapportant les décisions prises par le Conseil d'administration de l'ITIE.

Le 16 février 2011, le Conseil d'administration de l'ITIE a convenu d'une nouvelle édition des Règles de l'ITIE.

The Board agreed that Mali is eligible for an extension of its second Validation deadline, due to exceptional circumstances that led to significant delays in EITI implementation in the year 2018. Mali’s second Validation, initially scheduled to start on 28 November 2018, will now begin on 28 February 2019. The Secretariat will take into consideration, to the extent possible, all publicly available information up to 28 February 2019.

The EITI Board acknowledged that Liberia published the 2015/16 EITI Report but did not publish the 2017 annual progress report by the deadline of 31 December 2018. The EITI Board calls upon the government to address the progress with the corrective actions from Validation, including the publication of an EITI Report that meets requirement 4.8 on timely EITI reporting, and the publication of the 2017 Annual Progress Report.

The Board suspended Togo for missing the deadline for the 2017 annual progress report.

The Board agreed that Togo is suspended effective 1 Febraury 2019 due to the failure to publish the 2017 Annual Progress Report by 31 December 2018. In accordance with the EITI Standard, the suspension will be lifted if the EITI Board is satisfied that the outstanding Annual Progress Report has been published. The suspension will remain in force until the EITI Board is satisfied that the country has met requirement 8.4. If the suspension is in effect for more than one year, the EITI Board will delist Togo.
