The EITI is pleased to welcome KOGAS as the latest EITI Supporting Company.
KOGAS was incorporated by Korean government in 1983 and has become the largest LNG importer in the world. The company has exploration or production projects in five countries that are currently implementing the EITI standard: Iraq, Yemen, Timor-Leste, Indonesia and Mozambique.
On its public website Kogas has issued a statement of its support to the EITI. With KOGAS, there are now 62 oil, gas and mining companies that support the EITI on the international level.
