The minutes of the 13th Board Meeting held on 19 – 20 October 2010 in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania, are now available.
During the meeting, board members approved candidate applications for Indonesia and Togo, making them the 32nd and 33rd countries presently implementing the EITI. Board members also discussed the final validation reports and the status of six countries, including: Cameroon, Gabon, Ghana, Kyrgyz Republic, Mongolia and Nigeria. Mongolia and Ghana were declared as the 4th and 5th EITI Compliant countries respectively. The Board decided that Cameroon, Gabon, Kyrgyz Republic and Nigeria were EITI Candidate countries that are “close to compliance”.
