
Lusine Tovmasyan
EITI National Coordinator, Armenia
Lusine Tovmasyan is the National Coordinator and Head of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative Secretariat under the Office of the Prime Minister of Armenia. In this capacity, she plays a leading role in promoting transparency, accountability, and responsible practices in the extractive industries sector.
She is an accomplished professional with a solid background in economics, management, and public administration. With over 15 years of experience in various sectors, she has made significant contributions in her roles, promoting good governance, accountability and innovation in governance, participatory decision making and sustainable policy development.
Prior to joining EITI Armenia, she held the positions of Economist and Legal Expert at the National Centre for Legislative Regulation/the Regulatory Guillotine, where she contributed in designing regulatory reforms resulting sector-wide reduction of administrative burden for private sector and citizens. She also served as the Head of International Cooperation, Information, and Public Relations Division of the Social Security State Service of Armenia.
Lusine Tovmasyan holds a Diploma on the field of Economy and Management of Enterprises from the Armenian State University of Economics. She pursued an Advanced Certificate Program in "Public Policy and Public Administration" at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy of Tufts University in the United States and a list of professional training programs in different countries.
