Fredrik Reinfeldt
Former Chair of the Board
Fredrik Reinfeldt was active in Swedish and international politics for 25 years. He was Prime Minister of Sweden 2006-2014 and chairman of the Moderate Party (centre-right) 2003-2015. He was a member of the European Council for eight years. He was the last President of the rotating presidency before the introduction of a full time President of the European Council.
Today, Mr Reinfeldt holds international lectures on governance, leadership and political reforms. He has an extensive international network. In February 2016, Mr Reinfeldt was elected as chair to the EITI.
