Samou Sidibe

Mr Samou Sidibe was born on June 15 1979 in Koulikoro, Mali and is a father of four children.    

He graduated as a Geological Engineer from the National School of Engineers of Bamako in 2004 and has worked as a prospecting geologist as shown below:

2006 - 2009 for New Gold Mali (NGM) in the Kangaba area (South Mali)

2009 - 2011 at Sadiola Gold Mines Company (SEMOS)

2011 - 2014 at Gold Field with the Kangare Project as Senior Geologist and Assistant Project Manager

2016 - 2021 at  BT2Gold-Mali at the Fekola Gold Mines

In September 2021, Mr Sidibe was appointed Permanent Secretary of EITI-Mali and became amember of the EITI International Board in November 2021.
