Member of Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine), Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada’s Committee on on Fuel and Energy Complex, Nuclear Policy and Nuclear Safety. Member of the Bloc Petra Poroshenko Parliament Faction. Permanent Member of the Ukrainian Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of OSCE.
Public Policy Focus Areas: Energy Reform, Gas sector fiscal regime improvement, Energy Independence, Entrepreneurship and Investment Climate, Banking sector reform, Digitalization of Ukraine, Gender Issues.
Co-chair of the Parliamentary Non-Partisan Caucuses “For Energy Independence of Ukraine” and “For digital Future of Ukraine”.
Olga was elected as a Member of the Parliament in Ukraine and started her duties on 12 December 2012 being part of the political party and Parliament faction “UDAR V. Klychko”. Before elections she was one of the Managing Partners of EastLabs.co – startup business accelerator in Kyiv. Before joining Eastlabs, Olga Bielkova was part of the executive management team for the Victor Pinchuk Foundation. As Director of International Programs at the Foundation, she led projects for Ukraine’s integration into the global community, supervised the international grant-making activity, and worked closely with several well known international organizations. Olga Belkova directly oversaw the largest privately funded Ukrainian scholarship initiative, the WorldWideStudies, designed to support young talented Ukrainians pursuing their Master’s degrees in leading universities outside Ukraine. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as Financial and Administrative Director for the Land O’Lakes, a USAID-funded agricultural marketing project in Ukraine. Olga also worked as Deputy Director for the Junior Achievement International branch in Ukraine, introducing economic education to more than 30,000 students in 500 high schools throughout Ukraine.
Olga Bielkova is a Harvard Mason Fellow and holds a Master of Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a law degree from the KyivShevchenkoNationalUniversity and a degree in economics from the CherkassyStateEngineeringUniversity.
