openness and accountable management of revenues from natural resources. As part of this commitment, Newcrest publishes its Annual Tax Contribution Report, which sets
out mining royalties and taxes paid across all our operating jurisdictions.

Engagement with the EITI

Newcrest Mining is an active member of the respective country’s multi-stakeholder groups (MSG) in Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. In Papua New Guinea, the company supported and assisted with the development of Papua New Guinea’s submission to become an EITI candidate country.

As a supporting member of the EITI, Newcrest publicly discloses revenue and benefits generated in accordance with relevant national regulations and the EITI Standard.
