ASM in the 3T and gold sectors in the DRC for 2020 and 2021

With ENABEL's support, the DRC's Multi-Stakeholder Group commissioned a report to extend  transparency to artisanal and small-scale mining and responsible supply chains. The study reveals a pressing need for traceability in the 3T and gold sectors, the need to set up frameworks for dialogue between stakeholders, SOEs and artisanal miners, as well as the need for better formalization to enable the reporting of reliable statistics, given the importance and contribution of the artisanal sector to the national economy.
