The Norad Conference 2025, which took place in Oslo, Norway, brought together global leaders to accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals set for 2030. The conference aimed to inspire and catalyse partnerships to create and speed up necessary changes. Partners, thought leaders and key stakeholders discussed how the world can mobilise the money needed to combat poverty, climate change and nature loss at the speed and scale we desperately need. EITI Board Chair Helen Clark moderated a fireside chat on country leadership featuring Rafael Dubeux (Deputy Vice Minister of Finance, Brazil), Kandeh Yumkellah (Hon. Dr. Chairman, Presidential Initiative on Climate Change, Renewable Energy and Food Security), and Marie Nielsen (Partner, Antler Africa). The discussion followed presentations on Brazil's ecological transformation plan and private capital's role in Africa's impact story.

EITI Board Chair Helen Clark delivered a keynote speech on transparency and good governance as essential pillars for financing development. Following the keynote, she joined a fireside chat discussion, "Follow the money", alongside Gabriel Zucman (Professor of Economics and Director of the EU Tax Observatory) and Tellef Thorleifsson (CEO Norfund), moderated by Robin Wigglesworth.
