The Board approved two additional Validation templates.
Board decision
The Board approved two additional transparency templates which were revised to be in line with the 2023 EITI Standard. The templates cover the modules licenses, contracts and ownership (C2) and environmental and social impacts (C6).
The Board also agreed to revise the Validation guide to reflect grouping of modules in the Validation transparency templates.
The Board agreed to allow for a soft launch of the templates to give countries that will be validated in 2025 enough transition period.
