The Board approved the timeline and proposed plan for the third assessment of company progress in meeting the EITI Expectations for supporting companies. The plan is informed by the recommendations set out in November 2023 and takes into consideration, notably, the timing of the publication of results three months ahead of the 2026 EITI Members’ Meeting and Global Conference. 

The core assessment process will begin in June 2025 and run until December 2025. This schedule aligns with typical reporting cycles of companies, the majority of which will publish data on the 2024 financial year in the period from March to June 2025. Results from the assessment will be presented to the EITI Board in Q1 2026 and subsequently published on the EITI website.
