This Validation report assesses the United Kingdom's performance in implementing the 2023 EITI Standard in the period between November 2021 to June 2025, with financial data assessed from 2023. The report is based on a detailed analysis of relevant documentation, available in the annexes, and interviews with relevant stakeholders from government, industry and civil society.

Based on this assessment, the EITI Board agreed on 19 November 2025, that the United Kingdom achieved a "very good" score in implementing the 2023 EITI Standard (87.5 points). The Board decision, including corrective actions needed before the country's next Validation, is published in the decisions register.
Validation is the EITI’s quality assurance mechanism to assess implementing countries on their ability to meet the provisions of the EITI Standard.
