  • 11 December 2025
  • Online

Registration: Invitation-only event. A meeting link will be shared directly with confirmed participants.

The EITI will host a virtual roundtable bringing together researchers whose work engages with transparency, governance and the extractive sector. This 90-minute session is designed to strengthen dialogue between the research community and the EITI as preparations advance for the 2026 EITI Global Conference in Manila.

The roundtable will provide updates on the EITI’s strategic priorities and emerging data resources, including EITI Reports, centralised datasets, the newly launched SOE Database and ongoing Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) efforts. Participants will have the opportunity to share insights on research priorities, data needs and analytical gaps.

The discussion will also explore opportunities for researcher involvement in the 2026 Global Conference, including peer-learning sessions, innovation talks, partner events and contributions to thematic panels.
