Future Minerals Forum 2026
Between 13 and 15 January, the EITI will participate in the Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Where: King Abdulaziz International Conference Center, Riyadh
The global transition to clean energy depends on secure, responsibly sourced critical minerals. The Future Minerals Forum (FMF) in Riyadh brings together leaders to address the challenges and opportunities of building sustainable mineral value chains for a low-carbon future.
Now in its fifth year, the FMF remains one of the world's premier gatherings for senior government officials, industry leaders and international organisations committed to responsible mineral development across mineral-rich regions worldwide, including Africa, Latin America and Western and Central Asia.
The three-day program (13-15 January 2026) will open with an exclusive Ministerial Roundtable on 13 January under the theme "Minerals for a New Era of Development." Focused on leadership, action and the introduction of new voices, the roundtable will bridge public sector strategies with private sector priorities across the global mineral ecosystem.
The following two days (14-15 January) will feature discussions spanning the full mineral value chain, alongside an International Exhibition and National Country Showcases. The program creates space for policy dialogue, knowledge exchange and strategic partnerships between governments, investors and industry.
