The EITI International Secretariat will be visiting Ethiopia from 27-28 November 2017 to help them prepare for the upcoming Country validation in April 2018. The latest EITI disclosures (2014) show that Ethiopia received USD 148 million from extractive industry taxation. Two fifths of these revenues came from gold production and another two fifths from cement manufacturing.

Training for the multi-stahkeholder group on beneficial ownership and on mainstreaming conducted together with Ernst & Young. The main purpose of the workshop is to kick off the mainstreaming feasibility work supported by the EGPS (World Bank) carried out by Ernst&Young Kazakhstan.
