Mining and metals companies

Minsur

Minsur is a Peruvian mining company with over 35 years of experience, owned by Breca, the country’s main investment group enjoying a broadly diversified business base. The company exploits tin in the San Rafael mine and gold in Pucamarca. Minsur metals are marketed and traded both locally and globally.

It is worth emphasising that Minsur is committed with promoting better governance of the non-renewable resources extractive sector. The Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (EITI) plays a fundamental role, as a global strategic alliance between governments, extractive companies (mining, oil and gas), civil society groups and international organisations. Thus, transparency criteria are used for the payments these companies make to governments, and for income received by governments, so that these resources are used to foster development.
