Alanna Markle

Alanna Markle is the Open Ownership’s Policy and Research Manager. She contributes to developing, testing, and refining the organisation’s policy recommendations and supports the implementation of BOT reforms.

Prior to joining Open Ownership, Alanna was a strategic foresight analyst based in the Office of the Secretary-General at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. She has also worked in policy analysis for the Western Cape Government and the Institute for Security Studies in South Africa.

Alanna is a former Fulbright Fellow and holds an MA in Global Finance, Trade and Economic Integration from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver.
