Peer learning event for Anglophone Africa EITI implementing countries
Regional gatherings are an opportunity to draw on cross-cutting issues and to promote debate and dialogue amongst countries. This workshop aims to explore options for mainstreaming transparency and public disclosure of data in government systems; to take stock of progress with beneficial ownership disclosures.It also seeks to share experiences between countries that have been Validated and address common barriers to compliance with the EITI Standard. The countries that will participate in this event are Ethiopia, Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Sao Tome and Principe, Seychelles, Mozambique, Malawi, and Zambia.
