The EITI Board agreed in principle the proposed refinements to the following EITI Requirements:

• 1.2       Company engagement
• 1.3       Civil society engagement
• 1.4       Multi-stakeholder group governance
• 1.5       Work plan, monitoring and review
• 2.1       Legal framework
• 2.2       Contract and license allocations
• 3.1       Exploration
• 4.1       Comprehensive disclosure of taxes and revenues
• 4.10     Project costs
• 6.1       Social and environmental expenditures
• 6.4       Environmental impact

The Board mandated the Working Group to further develop other proposed refinements to the EITI Standard, under the oversight of the Implementation Committee.
