Priorities for strengthening extractive industry governance - EITI partners meeting

The EITI International Secretariat invited colleagues in key partner organisations for some informal workshops and information sharing sessions on extractives governance. 

We discussed the outlook for beneficial ownership, state-owned enterprises, contract transparency, commodity trading, and other topics. We looked at wider developments and how the EITI can best add value, especially as we prepare for our next Global Conference in 2019. 

Partners held short presentations about their work and priorities in 2019. We explored the outlook for EITI implementation, including systematic disclosure, Validation, funding and governance. Images from the event are on our flickr channel.
