Albania is not eligible for an extension of the reporting deadline
The deadline for the publication of the outstanding report remains 30 June 2023.
Board decision
In accordance with Article 2 of Section 1, Part 2 of the 2023 EITI Standard, Albania is temporarily suspended due to non-publication of its reports for 2019 and 2020 by the second extension deadline of 30 June 2023. The suspension will be automatically lifted if the outstanding data are published within six months of the deadline, i.e. by 30 December 2023. If the outstanding data are not published within six months of the deadline, the suspension will remain in force until the EITI Board is satisfied that Albania has published EITI data in accordance with Requirement 4.8. If the suspension is in effect for more than one year, the EITI Board will delist the country.
