The EITI Board has decided to pause the Validation of Seychelles under the 2019 EITI Standard. Seychelles remains a member of the EITI, but its Validation is paused given the lack of extractive industry activities in the country. The EITI Board tasks the Implementation Committee with recommending an approach for EITI implementation in Seychelles that is commensurate with the lack of extractive industry activities in the country.
